Hanrik Chart has carried out extensive research into an extraordinary period in Arisaig’s history. In the early 1940s, Arisaig and the surrounding area accommodated a succession of people of many different nationalities, all members of a wartime organisation, the Special Operations Executive, as they prepared for some of the most perilous missions of WW2.
